AEPMA MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Practical guidance. Shared experience. A stronger industry.

The AEPMA Mentorship Program connects people across the Australian pest management industry for practical, one-to-one professional support.

Whether you are looking for guidance as you develop your career or have valuable knowledge and experience to share, the program provides a structured way to build connections, exchange ideas and support professional growth.

Whether you are looking for support as a mentee or would like to share your experience as a mentor, we invite you to get involved.

Become a mentee

A mentor can provide perspective, practical guidance and encouragement as you:

  • build your knowledge and confidence
  • adjust to a new role or responsibility
  • develop your leadership or business skills
  • work through professional challenges
  • explore future career opportunities
  • build stronger industry connections

You do not need to have everything mapped out before expressing your interest. Let us know where you are now and what you would value support with.

Become a mentor

Mentoring is an opportunity to share the knowledge you have built throughout your career and make a meaningful contribution to another person’s development.

Mentors can also benefit by strengthening their own communication and leadership skills, gaining fresh perspectives and developing connections across the industry.

You do not need to have all the answers. Good mentors listen, share relevant experience and help another person consider their options.

How the program works

1. Express your interest

Complete the AEPMA Mentorship Program Expression of Interest form and tell us whether you are interested in participating as a mentor or mentee.

2. AEPMA reviews your information

The information provided helps AEPMA understand your experience, goals, interests, availability and what you are hoping to gain or contribute.

3. A potential match is identified

Where a suitable connection is available, AEPMA will contact both participants before confirming the mentorship.

4. The mentorship begins

Once both participants agree to proceed, they will be introduced and provided with information to help them begin the mentorship with clear expectations.

Help strengthen the pest management industry

Every conversation, shared lesson and new connection helps build capability across our industry.

Whether you are seeking support or ready to give something back, we invite you to express your interest.
