Our Strategic Priorities
Our strategic priority as an association is to increase the participation of women in the pest control industry and support women already involved in the pest control industry. The Australian Women’s Pest Management Association (AWPMA) will achieve this by offering participants:
Support
To provide support to women currently in the pest control industry by providing networking opportunities to bond with other like minded individuals within the pest control industry.
Confidence
To provide a supportive environment where women can expand on their skills and feel confident participating and conversing in the pest control industry.
Collaboration
To work with other associations and businesses to find different ways to attract women into the pest control industry and to retain women already employed in the pest control sector.
Publicity
To engage with women outside of the industry and raise the profile of the pest control industry as a viable career path for women to enter.
AEPMA and AWPMA Announce Merger
In a groundbreaking move to strengthen and enhance the Australian pest management industry, in December 2023, the Australian Environmental Pest Managers Association (AEPMA) and the Australian Women’s Pest Management Association (AWPMA) proudly announced their merger.
Collaboration for a Stronger Future
This historic merger is driven by a shared commitment to foster collaboration and inclusivity within the pest management sector. The combined efforts of AEPMA and AWPMA aim to create a more robust and supportive community of professionals, with a specific focus on empowering and promoting women in the field.
Key Outcomes of the Merger
Administrative Support and Efficiency: AEPMA will provide essential administrative support to streamline AWPMA’s operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in serving its members.
Unified Online Presence: AWPMA’s online presence will be redirected to aepma.com.au/awpma, featuring AWPMA branding and information. AEPMA will maintain the website, ensuring a seamless experience for members.
Financial Stability: AEPMA will manage financial aspects, providing accurate bank reconciliation and regular accounting reports. The merger ensures financial stability while upholding transparency and accountability.
Empowered Sponsorship Agreements: AEPMA will guide and support AWPMA in fostering sponsorship agreements, contributing to the association’s overall business interests.
Professional Development Fund: AWPMA’s existing funds will be used to establish a dedicated Professional Development Fund under AEPMA’s stewardship, supporting women in the pest control industry in personal development activities.
Commitment to Excellence
The merged entities are committed to maintaining and enhancing the industry’s excellence, with a focus on recognising the achievements of women through awards such as the AWPMA Excellence Award.

Amy Jenkinson
Amy Jenkinson is the Office & Marketing Manager at Allure Pest Solutions, where she combines operational know-how with creative flair to help keep a busy business running smoothly. Since joining the industry in 2021, Amy has worked her way up from scheduling into a leadership role, developing streamlined systems, guiding internal processes, and crafting communications that reflect the heart of the business.
She’s also the creative mind behind AWPMA’s incredible social media and graphic design, helping to shape the organisation’s presence and energy online and off. Amy coordinates AWPMA events, making sure they run with professionalism, polish, and a genuine sense of welcome.
Amy brings clarity, creativity, and a grounded, practical mindset to everything she does. Her thoughtful, team-first approach and belief in continuous improvement make her a valued contributor to AWPMA and a quiet powerhouse in the industry.
Kuy Rider
Kuy Rider is the General Manager of Allure Pest Solutions (formerly Conquer Termites Northside) and a licensed general and timber pest professional with over 15 years in the industry. Since 2014, she has helped grow the business from a two-person operation into a thriving team of 20, focusing on staff development, strong culture, and sustainable business systems.
In recognition of her contributions, Kuy was awarded the AWPMA Excellence Award in 2021, honouring her leadership, professionalism, and dedication to lifting others. She now serves as Queensland Chair and a National Board Director of AEPMA, where she helps shape policy and support pest management professionals across the country.
At AWPMA, Kuy is known as the voice of the people – a natural connector and advocate who makes sure the needs and ideas of our community are heard at the highest levels. She’s a true leader (and expert cat herder), known for her warmth, inclusivity, and the ability to bring people together, no matter their background.
Sarah Cutting
Sarah Cutting is the General Manager of Spiderman SE Eco Pest Management, a qualified pest technician, beekeeper, and systems nerd based in regional South Australia. She runs a multi-route business focused on environmentally responsible pest control and is known for pairing hands-on field knowledge with a strategic mindset.
Her background spans pest management, business growth, compliance, beekeeping, and community education. She’s a sharp operator who believes in clarity, high standards, and doing things the right way – even when it’s the hard way.
At AWPMA, Sarah is the one behind the scenes making the engine run. She coordinates the AWPMA Excellence Award, the Professional Development Fund, the website, and the forms and workflows that keep everything moving. She also authors and edits many of the AWPMA articles for the AEPMA magazine.
Sarah brings insight, integrity, and a zero-BS approach to everything she does. She’s committed to creating a space where more people feel seen, supported, and able to succeed – because that’s how the whole industry moves forward.
